It is very rewarding for me to celebrate all victories, whether big or small, with my patients. As a clinician, I like providing encouragement as we work together to reach your therapy goals. I strive to create a joy-filled, uplifting therapy environment.
Outside of my speech pathologist role, you can find me enjoying family walks in one of the many green spaces around the Houston metro. I’m often in the kitchen baking something from scratch with my girls to meet our family’s special dietary needs. And every day starts with a steaming cup of strong, black tea-- with cream and sugar please!
Afiyah is a board certified speech pathologist, licensed to practice in the states of TX and FL. She carries 16 years of clinical expertise in managing acquired disorders of communication and swallowing in adults across the lifespan.
